Bütçem Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Bütçem: Expense Tracker ("Bütçem"), a mobile app by Smart Maple, handles your information.
Summary
- Bütçem does not collect your data. Your statements, transactions, categories and settings are stored only on your device.
- The app does not connect to a server. No data is sent to us or to third parties.
- No account, sign-in or bank password is required.
- No advertising, analytics or tracking tools are used.

Information processed on your device
The following is stored only in the app's storage on your device:
- Statement documents you choose (PDF or HTML). They contain what your bank printed on them, such as your name, IBAN or card number (usually masked), transaction descriptions, amounts and balances.
- Transactions read from those statements: date, amount, description, balance and source line.
- What you create: account names, categories, rules, budget limits and category or type corrections.
- Profile: the name and budget name you enter in the app (optional).
Statements are read on the device and used only to show you budgeting features (overview, categories, limits, transaction sources).
What we do not collect or share
- We do not ask for an account, email address or sign-in.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools.
- We do not request access to location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. Bütçem reads only the file you select.
- We do not sell or share your data, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Ayarlar (Settings) → Bütçeyi cihazdan sil permanently deletes all records and stored statements. Uninstalling the app also deletes them. Because we do not hold your data, we cannot recover deleted data.
Device backups
If iCloud or computer backup is turned on for your iPhone, app data may be included in those backups according to your device settings. These backups stay in your Apple account or on your computer, under your control, and never reach us. The Android version of Bütçem excludes its data from device backups.
Security
Your data is kept in the app's own storage, which the operating system isolates from other apps. We recommend protecting your device with a screen lock. Anyone who can unlock your device can see the information in the app.
App stores
The store you download Bütçem from (App Store or Google Play) may process data for downloads and account purposes under its own privacy policy. That processing is outside our control.
Support emails
If you email us, we use your email address and the contents of your message only to answer your request. Please do not send us real bank statements.
Children
Bütçem is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from any user.
Your rights
Your app data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can view, correct or delete it in the app at any time. For information processed through support emails, you can exercise your rights under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) by contacting support@smaple.tr.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date. If the way we handle data changes materially, we will also tell you in the app.
